Two players head to Italy on trials

Picaretta, who has previously coached in the English Premier League (EPL), will be scouting for talented young African soccer players to showcase in Europe. His expertise will be invaluable in identifying and developing the next generation of soccer stars. which could potentially lead to placements in leading football clubs or assist them in gaining international scholarships.

Tawanda Lepelle and Zinhle Seageng, two soccer players identified by World Wide Scholarships scouts, are set to embark on the opportunity of a lifetime, as they travel to Italy for a two-week trials.

The talented duo will depart on April 27, 2024, and will spend two weeks showcasing their skills to Italian coaches with the hopes of nabbing a position in one of the elite Italian football clubs. They will begin their trial in Genova. First club they will be on trial with is Athletic Albaro Genova and then Genova Calcio. Following this they will be on trial in Milan.

Media are invited to attend a "Meet and Greet" session with Coach Picaretta welcoming him to Africa while also sending off the two future stars Tawanda and Zinhle before their departure.
